All parts of the marshmallow plant all have medicinal properties. It’s an emollient, it helps reducing irritation, reducing excess of gastric acidity, relieves ulcers. It’s a mild laxative and very effective against intestinal disorders. It’s also used to treat cough, asthma and abundant secretion in the bronchi.
The latin name of the genus “Althea” comes from “althein” meaning “to heal”. The leaves, roots and flowers of the plant can be used for healing and well-being purposes.
Our Marshmallow is higher quality because it's freshly harvested by knowledgeable family farmers, as well as it's stored in the cold and dark. It contains a high content of essential oils.
