Used for thousands of years by the Indigenous Peoples of the Amazon for its medicinal properties and fragrance, Palo Santo truly deserves its name as the "Holy Wood".
Palo Santo has been used for thousand of years for purification purposes; to ward off bad energies and spirits; to cleanse ones mind and for meditation.
It’s a very powerful purifying incense, and an incredibly good-smelling fragrance!
More recently, Palo Santo oil has been used in aromatherapy and as a massage oil, and has been noted for its ability to combat acute rheumatism and muscle pain, as an antiseptic, and as a sedative.
These large pieces are about 10cm x 2cm x 2cm (4in x 3/4in x 3/4in)
Our Palo Santo is higher quality because it's freshly harvested by knowledgeable family farmers, as well as it's stored in the cold and dark. It contains a high content of essential oils.
Our Palo Santo is ethically harvested by local family farmers.
